Robert Boyle

Robert Boyle was alive from 25 January 1627 - 31 December 1691. He was a 17th century natural philosopher, chemist, physicist and inventor. He was born in Water ford south east of ireland. Boyle was more interested in observing nature and drawing his conclusions from what actually happened rather than actually going out and discovering things. He was the fist important scientist to accomplish controlled experiments and to publish his work with details concerning procedure, the machinery needed and observations.
