Over the last week or so I have been working on getting at grid done in under ten minutes. I thought that tonight would be then night that I time it. I trying 4 times and didn't get under two minutes. I was now starting to give up I was only 3 seconds off so I tried on last time. In the final one my time was 1:53 which I was extremely happy with.
My Tactic is, I would go down the Y axis and then do the same on the X axis, but once I got to the fives I went through and did all the tens and nines because I knew them quite well. I would then If I had spare time go through the eights and sevens again and check them because I dont know then as well as others.
I think I did an alright job because I am not the best at times tables and I find that, they are a big part in our learning (knowing basic equations) and we should. I could have done better if I tried a little harder and didn't have a stopwatch right infront of my face. I think it would have also helped if we kept doing them in class, because I used to enjoy them and I felt good everyday when I would get a better score.
(sorry it is backwards)

Good tactics. I'm most happy that you used the terms x axis and y axis! Keep practising so you don't revert to old, slower speeds.
